Speaking of asshattery… This bill will grant dictatorial powers to the President, no ifs ands or buts…

This legislation, essentially, confers on the federal government police powers that, under our system, are the exclusive preserve of state and local government. The blank check the bill gives the feds to take over any financial institution is really more of an exercise of eminent domain than it is an extension of traditional federal regulatory power.

Mini Robo-Love Health Care Edition Link Fest

Friend of the Robot "Eye of Polyphemus" (which I can now spell without referring back to his blog) has an excellent list of blogs that mention the Health Care issue.

Gateway Pundit exposes Safe School Czar Kevin Jennings' obscene budget and pay raise for evidently doling out, well, what can only be described as an obscene agenda to America's students.

Despite the runaway federal spending and record budget deficits, Barack Obama is including $410 million in the 2011 budget for his "safe schools" czar Kevin Jennings. This is an increase of $45 million over last year’s budget. Obviously, some things are more important than others. These funds ought to buy a whole mess of fisting kits, leather bar guides and child porn books. And, the  money will come in handy for the sexual indoctrination of teens and pre-teens.

I dug on it not because he's based in Houston, Texas, which is near and dear to my heart, or because he's a musician (I like musicians; they sometimes let me hang with them), or because he writes about food amongst other things or the fact that he's got Obummer down pat so he's got that goin' for him as well.
