40 - 50 Million Killed - Anita Dunn is a BIG FAN!

>> October 16, 2009

Anita Dunn is a Mao Zedong enthusiast. AND a Mother Teresa fan. Hmmmmm. Interesting combo, 'Nita. Would you care to expound on those two extreems of the social spectrum?
Lets see. On one hand we have  Mother Teresa: Nun, Saint, Caregiver, Instrument of God.
For Comparison, I found this in the Wiki bibliography on Mao ZeDung - oops - ZeDong... "Death Toll Median Average Estimates of 14 Sources(!) = 45.75 - 52.5 MILLION people  let me think on that for a sec. FOURTEEN SOURCES!!? Do you think they are all in bed together? All Fourteen? And this is from Wikipidia. (not the most conservative source on the net, I'd say) another source from the same article...
"Mao’s responsibility for the extinction of anywhere from 40 to 70 million lives brands him as a mass killer greater than Hitler or Stalin,  his indifference to the suffering and the loss of humans breathtaking."

Is it just me or does she act like she's got cotton mouth? It looks to me like she just got back from doing a rail or a spleef! I'm sure it's all an act though.
Deserving of an Oscar for sure.

Hot Babes, 9/12 Tea Party Protest and History

>> October 15, 2009

What is it with the recent surge of Hot Conservative Babes in the news the last couple of years? We've got Carrie Prejean, Meghan McCain (RINO), Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Ann Coulter, not to mention the ultra-hot/smart Five Feet of Fury (I'll let you figure out who she is). The question is: (there's not one really, I just wanted a good reason to post a hot chick pic) is this a new phenomenon or have these ladies been around for a while, hiding in the closet, waiting for the 2008 elections and 9/12 rallies to break out of their proverbial pant suit shells? It's just that I can't remember getting all worked up the last time I saw a female conservative / libertarian politician or pundit.
Just Sayin'.

Now that I've mentioned the 9/12 rallies, while I was ^ahem^ researching ^cough^ this post I ran across a large (read HUGE)  photo archive from The People's Cube and the larger (read HUMONGOUS) set of photos at their Facebook 9/12 album. I'm still wondering how just  12,000 people could have possibly looked like 800,000 to a million. Smoke and mirrors I guess.

If you're interested in historical pictures, documents or ancestral records there is a wealth of information at It is amazing the amount of data they have on the site. It's like an interactive History Book! I highly recommend it.

Now for some dessert... Unfortunate Cookie ;-)

Texas State Proposals 2, 3, & 5 Are Not New Taxes

>> October 14, 2009

The World's Largest Texas flag!
Has anyone been getting emails telling you to vote against Proposals 2, 3 and 5 in the upcoming Nov. 3rd Texas State election? I emailed my Senator and he just replied. These props DO NOT create new state taxes. They actually rein in the appraisal districts. Here is the link Senator Williams sent me. Pass it on!

History of Constitutional Decline

The U.S. Treasury building, Washington D.C.Image via Wikipedia
I've been working on an American history time line this week. A work sheet for myself really.  I thought it would be interesting to see the evolution of the constitution, in a format that puts the changes in context with historical events. Along the way, I've noticed the ebb and flow of freedoms and rights given and taken away. What follows is my top twenty list of losses of liberty. (Sorry to say, I couldn't keep it to ten).
In chronological order...
  • Early 1900's - Karl Marx's "Capital" taught in college in lieu of Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations" - The only one on the list that doesn't involve government. It is on the list to mark a beginning of a train of thought.
  • 4/8/1913 - Amendment 17 - Senators Elected by Popular Vote, States lose representation
  • 1917 - Wilson creates Food Administration, Grain Corporation, War Trade Board & Committee on Public Information by Executive Order begins World War 1 phase of extending government into virtually every phase of American life
  • 1933 - US ends Gold Standard
  • 1933 - FDR Launches New Deal - collectivism in full swing (One Generation)
  • 1934 - National Firearms Act
  • 1935 - Social Security enacted (Wrongly upheld by Supreme Court in 1937 misinterpreting "General Welfare")
  • 1938 - Federal Firearms Act greatly expands firearms restrictions.
  • 1965 - Social Security Act of 1935 amended to create Medicare
  • 1973 - Abortion legalized - giving way to more Social engineering
  • 1991 - Civil Rights Act of 1991 further expanding affirmative action
  • 1994 - Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act (Assault Weapons Ban)
  • 2001 - Patriot Act - encroaching on privacy issues galore
  • 2006 - AT&T, BellSouth and Verizon / National Security Agency - possible illegal wiretapping scandal - still no investigation
  • 2007 - The official number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. reaches 11 million
  • 2008 - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in conservatorship for $300 billion taxpayer  dollars.
  • 2008 - ACORN - politically biased community activist organization given $500 million in earmarks with FNMA bailout
  • 2008 - Bush signs TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) $700 billion bank bailout bill
  • 2008 - General Motors becomes Government Motors for $40 billion taxpayer dollars
  • 2008 - Chrysler bailout costs $30 billion taxpayer dollars

More Tricksters Than Treats

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - OCTOBER 31: A young boy p...The American Thinker today has a very telling roundup of The One's witchy familiars and confidants, complete with enough bio and background to scare the socks off of anyone brave enough to read it. It is Halloween season, after all.
I like the term "locust horde".
I dare you to look in the basement.

Here's a little music while you read. (dedicated to number one on the list, although I'm not sure who's the most frightening)
