Senate: Nah.
We'll just extend unemployment instead.
Let's make sure everyone remains on the government dole shall we?
Via Open Congress:
And they call the republicans the party of no?
I think the repubs need to get a little louder on all fronts.

I think we've been over this before...The Senate has just passed a $140 billion bill includes an extension for unemployment benefits through the end of the year, tax credits and billions in emergency aid to states. One week after approving a 30-day extension of unemployment benefits (H.R.4691), the Senate today passed the American Workers, State, and Business Relief Act (H.R.4321), which provides a longer-term extension of those benefits. Specifically, the bill extends federal unemployment assistance through Dec. 31 and provides a 65 percent subsidy for COBRA health insurance premiums. The coverage is retroactive to Feb. 28.

Such crazy ideas! No one has ever done it before! Oh, wait. Didn't it happen in the 80's?
Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you did because I might not have found your site if you hadn't. I tried to comment at your place. Don't know what happened. Thanks for stopping by! Cheers
Great points and excellent video.
Why didn't I think of 'Shout It Out Loud?'
Good find.
I've known several people that went on unemployment in my life. None of them ever started looking for a job until about a week before it was to run out.
But yes, the Democrats like their supporters - black people, unions, and now unemployment collectors - Dependent.
